2012 CCTV Online Spring Festival Gala North America Audition
CCTV Online Spring Festival Gala is a large-scale original brand activity held by CCTV and CNTV. It is an important achievement of CCTV’s project to combine television and Internet. In 2011, the first CCTV Online Spring Festival Gala was aired on CCTV and had great responses from the audience.
With the experience of producing and broadcasting of the first CCTV Online Spring Festival Gala, the 2012 CCTV Online Festival Gala is in preparation. To get closer to the Chinese in all of the world, this time the Online Spring Festival Gala is presenting Traveler’s Song: Heart for China, the 2012 CCTV Online Spring Festival Gala Audition, to hold an audition in North America. Any Chinese in America can sign up for the Spring Festival Gala Audition by filling in the form online or coming to the site. The chosen performances will have a chance to go on the stage of CCTV Spring Festival Gala, and broadcast on CCTV and CNTV during the Spring Festival of the Year of Dragon.

Requirements of the Video:
I. Any form of performance is acceptable including song, dance, comedian sketch, crosstalk, magic show, acrobatic, etc.
II. A video should be less than TEN minutes.
III. Any format of video is acceptable, including mpeg, mpg, avi, mov, asf, wmv, navi, 3gp, real video, mkv, flv, etc.
IV. Any use of any camera is acceptable. Professional HD/HQ camera, family HD/HQ camera, digital cameras with the function to shoot videos, cell phone with the function to shoot videos are all acceptable to shoot the video for this.
V. The organizer has the rights to choose from all the applicants. Any applicant that has violated laws or/and regulations will be rejected.
VI. Every applicant is deemed to agree with all the above provisions, and agree with the organizer using the content in media or authorizing other media for usage, or publishing the applying works.
Selection Rules:
There are three phases of the 2012 CCTV Online Spring Festival Gala, the first audition, the second audition and the final audition.
First Audition: Nov 15 to Dec 1, the applicants who submitted online will be voted online and the top 100 will go to the second audition.
Second Audition: Dec 2 to Dec 9, a city in America will be chosen to hold the second audition, and twenty applicants will pass it to the final audition.
Final audition: Dec 10 to Dec 17, the final audition of North America Zone will be held to choose ten performances, which will be selected accordingly by the director group of 2012 CCTV Online Spring Festival Gala to present on the formal gala.
2012年CCTV网络春晚北美赛区选拔活动
CCTV网络春晚是由中央电视台、中国网络电视台主办的大型原创品牌活动，是中央电视台台网联动发展的重要成果。2011年首届CCTV网络春晚在中央电视台播出后，取得良好反响。
在2011年首届网络春晚制作和播出的经验基础上，2012年CCTV网络春晚筹备工作已全面展开。为让网络春晚更加贴近海内外华人华侨，本届网络春晚特 别推出“游子吟•中国心”—— 2012年CCTV网络春晚北美赛区选拔活动，拟从在北美地区开展落地选拔活动。在美华人华侨可以通过网络报名或现场报名两种方式，参与CCTV网络春晚 选拔。优秀节目将有机会登上CCTV网络春晚的舞台，于龙年春节期间在中央电视台和中国网络电视台亮相。

视频作品要求：
一、参与评选的视频作品形式不限，包括歌曲、舞蹈、小品、相声、魔术、杂技等；
二、参选视频作品时长不得超过10分钟；
三、参选视频作品格式不限。MPEG、MPG、AVI、MOV、ASF、WMV、NAVI、3GP、REAL VIDEO、MKV、FLV等视频格式内容均可上传参赛。
四、拍摄器材不限。不论是专业高清/标清摄像机、家用高清/标清摄像机、带有摄像功能的数字相机、数字摄像手机等，均可作为拍摄器材参与本次活动。
五、主办方有权对所有参选作品进行筛选，违法、违规、不健康的作品将会被剔除。
六、参选者向本次选拔活动即视为接受以上条款：同意主办方在媒介和平台中使用此内容，或向其他媒体颁发转载使用许可，并同意主办方将参赛作品集结出版。
评选规则：
2012年CCTV网络春晚北美赛区选拔活动，分初赛、复赛、决赛三个环节。
初赛：11月15日——12月1日，在2012年CCTV网络春晚北美赛区选拔活动专题页面上对征集上来的作品进行网络票选，前100名作品进入复赛。
复赛：2011年12月2日至2011年12月9日间，选择美国当地一个城市举办一场落地复赛活动，选拔出共计20部作品进入决赛。
决赛：2011年12月10日至12月17日间，举行一场北美赛区决赛，选拔出10部作品，2012年CCTV网络春晚导演组将酌情选用于2012年CCTV网络春晚。
New Star show is a civil-orientated interactive television talent show. This show has set different sections, such as Southern Min Song Competition, Creativity Competition and auditions for Spring Festival’s Gala. Regardless of social classes, ages and colors of skin, any contestant can take part in the show. In recent day, ICN and the show CCTV Online Spring Festival Gala has reached an agreement of cooperation. The two parties will jointly hold the audition of “the Second CCTV Network Spring Festival Gala” in North America. The excellent contestants chosen by ICN can not only give full play to their talents but also are possible to go on the stage of CCTV Spring Festival Gala directly. Their performance will be shown in CCTV 3 (Entertainment Channel) to the audience in China.

1. Only video is allowed. Time limit is one minute.
2. One video for one category only. One applicant can take part in different categories by submitting different videos. One applicant can submit different videos in the same category. But in the end, one applicant has one video shortlisted only in the whole election.
3. Please don't apply with the same performance for more than one time.
4. Please do not submit videos which violate the rules of originality promulgated by ICN North American Spring Festival Gala, that is, fetch and record of TV show/TV picture/fetch and record of recorded live show/unoriginal video/TV reproduction/slideshow consisting of only photos. If one of the above four terms is violated, the organizer has the authority to cancel and deprive the qualification of the concerned applicant for good.
5. Once the sign-up is done, uploaded data and photo cannot be verified. Please affirm the validity of all the information.
6. Applicants who take part in the election by uploading their videos on the Internet should not change the link or delete the video without the organizer's authority, which will result in the invalidity of the video link, otherwise they will be regarded as giving up their qualification. The organizer has the authority to cancel the qualification of the applicant.
7. The organizer has the authority to use the video on media coverage or in the business practice.
8. Once the applicant's video is picked by the organizer and takes part in “North American Spring Festival Gala”, the applicant will automatically agrees to authorize the organizer to edit the video, and according to purposes of the election, to present the video in public or to use in other practices. If you don't agree with the organizer's practices, please do not sign up for the election.
9. Music copyright: The organizer suggests if music is unauthorized, do not use the music of its obligee. Once the sign-up is done, the organizer can't judge if the music has been authorized by its obligee. However, if its obligee reports to the organizer that the applicant employs the music without the obligee’s authorization, the organizer will comply with the obligee’s request to remove the concerned video and adopt relative legal actions.
10. All the applicant could apply by uploading or mailing the materials. The winners picked by ICN in the first phase will go through Internet vote and expert review to get on the stage of ICN North American Spring Festival Gala. The broadcast sequence is arranged by ICN productions unit, and contestants should permit no contradiction.
11. The host units preserve the right to modify the content of the activity.
1. 参赛作品需是影音模式以一分钟为限。
2. 每个作品只限选一种分类，参赛者可以以不同作品报名不同分类，且可于同一分类中以不同作品重复报名。一个作者只限一个作品入围。
3. 同一个参赛作品，请勿重复报名。
4. 违反ICN北美春晚活动精神之作品如 电视节目侧录/电动画面/录像现场侧录/非自制影片/电视翻拍或由照片组合成的slideshow请勿报名。上述四项若任一项违反规定，主办单位有权将作品下架并永远取消参赛资格。
5. 报名完成后无法修改上传及寄出之数据及照片，请务必确认参加资料正确。
6. 使用网络上传办法之参赛者请勿擅自更动报名影片文件链接位置，或关闭影音服务，如导致报名链接位置失效，视为参赛者放弃参赛资格，主办单位有权将作品下架。
7. 主办单位有权针对参赛影片进行媒体采访或商业行为使用。
8. 您的影片经主办单位选出参与「北美春晚活动」者，您同意无条件授权主办单位就您的影片进行剪辑，并同意授权主办单位基于本活动之目的，将您的影片进行公开上映或其他使用。如您不同意上述主办单位的使用方式，请您不要报名参加本活动。
9. 有关音乐版权: 不鼓励您在未取得授权的情形下，擅自使用权利人的作品。我们在您报名时，并无法判断您影片是否取得著作权人的授权，但如果有著作权人向我们检举您未经他的授权即使用音乐，我们会配合权利人的要求移除作品并采取相关法律行动。
10. 所有参赛者可藉由上传或邮寄方式参加比赛，由ICN制作群组陆续选出初选优胜者,进行网络投票、专家评审选出登上ICN北美电视春晚的才艺达人。播放次序由ICN制作群组视情况安排，参赛者不得有异议。
